Voice cues call every interval, the halfway mark and the rest over your own playlist, with countdown beeps landing in the final seconds — and music, voice and beeps each carry their own volume, so your music never has to duck for the timer. HIIT, Tabata, rounds and desk-break sessions run with the screen off: the phone goes face-down at the first beep and takes no further looking. An incoming call pauses the round instead of killing it; the session survives calls and app switches and resumes from the exact second it stopped.
